Graduate school application instruction for international students

Thank you very much for your interest! If you would like to apply for the Master's or Doctoral program in the Graduate School with Prof. Toru Seo as your intended supervisor, please follow this instruction.

• First, please contact Seo by email before submitting the application. When contacting, please specify which program you would like to apply for. Our university offers several programs with different procedures, such as IGP(A) and IGP(C). It is the applicant's responsibility to understand the procedures for applying to these programs. This page is helpful.
• Then, please propose a possible/tentative title(s) for your Master's/Doctoral research with simple and brief explanations why you think that research is interesting. They do not necessarily have to be detailed. I just would like to know your basic interests and thoughts.
• Concise and essential communication is preferred. Please avoid lengthy and redundant text.
• We do not take "Research Student (Privately Funded)", which is a very special course for non-exam, non-degree students. If you want to join our lab, please take the admission exam for Master's/Doctoral degree.
